My Favorite Little Town

A small place in France called Cassis has been officially named my favorite European city thus far! C'est bon! There are so many reasons it is great... but to highlight one: when you have been out drinking all night it is not time for any McDonalds, pizza or a variety of other things you regret in the morning. Instead you knock on the back door of the local patisserie (because you are hanging out with the locals and this is what they do) and some warm croissants are thrown your way....that is reason 7 of 200 of why everyone should visit Cassis.

My Special Award

First off- I know I need to update the site...thanks to those people who have been asking for more...soon! So we had an award ceremony in school where the students were able to present special awards to the teachers for a fun day- the teachers even had to wear the school unifom - I was in Belfast for this...so upon my return I was presented with the award for "being most like Barbie." Yep, this is a true story!

Snow in Hereford!

It is snowing here! We had a small amount of snow for Christmas, which I was in London for... so yesterday was my first day of snow in Hereford! Today it snowed all morning, stopped shortly before recess and we still went outside (just guess who was on duty!) There was even talk of closing the school tomorrow....unfortunately, that is not going to happen. It was more to do with a broken boiler that they found 5 dead frogs in????

Austria 2005

I am so happy that so many people have enjoyed the website! I am trying to get ready for Austria. My flight leaves at 10:45am on Sunday. I searched for a train to get there....hmm, not an option! What was I thinking, I know how England operates on a Sunday! So, I am off to the airport today and get to stay in a nice airport hotel. Oh well! I will be back online in a few days with updates and pictures! If you're lucky I will try for a Sound of Music shot of me running down a hill in Salzburg.
